Tasks:

Responsibilities in Financial Operations:

  • Execute payroll procedures, handling clients’ payroll processing.
  • Manage bookkeeping tasks for clients, encompassing account reconciliation and the creation of financial statements.
  • Prepare and submit various mandatory reports, such as State Sales Tax and Workers’ Compensation Reconciliation.

Accounting Transactions and Compliance:

  • Scrutinize, process, gather, and organize accounting transactions and documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to regulations.
  • Monitor receivables, assess late fees, implement increases, and issue necessary notices.

Financial Records and Coordination:

  • Collaborate with Subsidy programs, keeping track of payments, increases, and essential notices and documentation.
  • Accurately record and deposit cash, credit card, manual, and e-check/ACH payments.
  • Maintain meticulous accounting records and filing documentation.

Expense Management:

  • Oversee company and property expenses, ensuring effective monitoring.

Accounts Payable and Reconciliation:

  • Enter accounts payable data with attached invoices, manage purchase orders, monitor payments, and receipts.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliation procedures.

Quality Control and Analytical Support:

  • Conduct weekly quality control assessments on all payables and receivables.
  • Provide analytical assistance to the team to enhance decision-making.

Vendor and Bill Management:

  • Review vendor, utility, and property bills thoroughly.

Tax Reporting and Coordination:

  • Coordinate with CPA for annual tax reporting on both company and property levels.
  • Furnish analytical support to the CPA as required.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record as a bookkeeper or in a related domain.
  • Comprehensive grasp of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Background in e-commerce with proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
  • Proficiency in constructing revenue models and conducting forecasting.
  • Skilled in utilizing QuickBooks, Excel/Spreadsheets, and GSuite.
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Exceptional precision and attention to detail.
